Last week, on Thursday 3rd January 2013, the cycling world came to stand still and heard the horrific news about one of cycling up and coming stars, Burry Stander.
The professional 25 year old mountain biker, from Kwa-Zulu Natal, was tragically killed when a taxi collided with him on Thursday during a training ride.

Since then there have been many memorial rides and huge amounts of support. My condolences go out to the Stander family.
